Kellie Paulsen Nail, known professionally as Evelyn Claire, is an American sex worker, model, Internet personality and Twitch streamer.
Born Kellie Erin Paulsen-Nail to Lowell Kenneth Nail Jr. and Rhonda Sue Paulsen, she was born on April 11, 1996 in Spokane, Washington.
Kellie is of British and Irish descent. In 2019, Kellie tragically lost her father to a heart attack. Her half-sister, Savannah Evelyn Nail (from Lowell and Rebecca Nail), attempted to provide CPR to save his life – but to no avail. She was just 11 years old at the time. Responding to his death, Kellie said that she was never close with “this man”, but expressed condolences for the pain the death caused her sister Savannah.
In a separate family tragedy four years earlier, Claire’s aunt Emma Paulsen took her own life at 38, shortly after being elected Ferry County prosecutor, while her husband and two children were in Kellie’s hometown of Spokane. Kellie maintains good relationships with her mother Rhonda and her grandmother Roma Mae Berg.
Kellie says she chose the stage name of “Evelyn Claire” because it translated to “Light Light”. It was also a tribute to her half sister Savannah Nail (born September 2, 2007), whose middle name is Evelyn.
Kellie attended The Community School, a Spokane Public School, graduating June 5, 2014. She later attended a cosmetology school, but dropped out and did not graduate. She was unhappy at each school. Kellie was also on the other side of schooling – working shortly as an art teacher in an elementary school.
In April 2015, following a few local modeling gigs while still going by Kellie Paulsen, Kellie started using the Evelyn Claire pseudonym, starting with adult webcamming website Chaturbate just two days after her 19th birthday. She recruited real-life friends to perform with her as well, notably “Faye” (known as Fairytalefaye, PursuingFaye and FayeFromCB), which lead to severe real-life complications for some of them.
Around 2017, Kellie progressed to professional adult work, filming scenes for major studios, and has been active in the industry ever since. In March 2018, she created a Twitch account, which gained popularity starting in 2019 and is still active as of 2021.
